Terms of Service
RodentMetrics is operated by PCB YAZILIM ARGE MÜHENDİSLİK LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ, a company registered in Türkiye. These Terms govern access to RodentMetrics, scientific software that processes rodent behavioral experiment video into configured quantitative metrics, trajectories, tracking-quality information, visualizations, CSV data and research reports.
Research software and interpretation
RodentMetrics provides measurement and review tools for research use. Researchers are responsible for selecting suitable recordings and settings, reviewing tracking quality, validating outputs for their protocol and interpreting results. RodentMetrics does not provide medical, veterinary, clinical or regulatory conclusions and does not replace professional or protocol-specific judgment.
Accounts and acceptable use
You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and use the service only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, upload unlawful or malicious material, or use content that you do not have the right to process.
Your uploaded content
You retain responsibility for experiment videos, metadata and other material you submit. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process that content. You should retain independent copies of source research data.
Credits and analysis charges
RodentMetrics uses prepaid pay-as-you-go analysis credits. One credit represents one minute of video analysis, with the selected analysis interval rounded up to the next whole minute. Purchased credits do not expire. Credit packages are one-time purchases; RodentMetrics does not attach a subscription or recurring billing to them.
Required credits are reserved when an analysis is queued, captured when processing completes successfully and released if processing fails. Reopening results, tracking review, CSV exports and reports do not consume additional credits.
Payments and refunds
For purchases completed through Paddle Checkout, Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and handles payment processing, applicable transaction taxes, and approved monetary refunds through its payment infrastructure. RodentMetrics does not directly process payment cards. Refund requests are governed by the Refund Policy, applicable law and Paddle’s applicable buyer and refund terms.
Intellectual property
RodentMetrics and its software, interface, documentation and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. These Terms do not transfer ownership of RodentMetrics technology or branding. Your ownership and responsibility for submitted research content are not transferred to RodentMetrics by these Terms.
Availability and changes
The service may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, security, infrastructure failure or circumstances outside reasonable control. Features and documentation may change as the service develops. No uninterrupted-availability guarantee is made.
